These works, he carried out in his atelier, depict the theme of Pistolesi’s fantastic world full by characters wandering in worlds which appear to be dreamlike transpositions
The technique of “tempera” takes root in the renaissance tempera made by mixing eggs, white wine and mastic, the painter makes it by himself which enables him to do some glazes that is to say overlaps.
Despite being a very slow technique it enables to obtain some peculiar light-filter effects which add to the magic of his “tempere”.
