Church of Transfiguration - Cape Cod, Orleans (MA)
This is the most important cycle of the Maestro Pistolesi’s frescoes, a master hand of this difficult technique. The latter will include frescoed walls in some famous churches among which the Abbey of Montecassino and the Monastery of the Verna.
The frescoes inside the Church of the Transfiguration started in 2001 needing substantive undertaking even for the preparation which took place in Florence’s atelier; first crafting an overall sketch and then drawing every single character either the entire figure or with the details.follows |

Chiesa Madonna del Buon Consiglio - Ponte Buggianese
"Cena in Emmaus" is the first frescoes Silvestro Pistolesi achieved when he was omly 23. In this same church he frescoed "La vecchina" (the old woman) in a surprisingly realistic way, it represents an old woman believer while the enters the church. |

Abbazia di Montecassino
Considerably large frescoes which is m. 3,5 high and m. 9 wide depicting the “Cena in Emmaus" (the Emmaus dinner) placed in the Abbey’s refectory whereas in the church there are the two “tavole” (large paintings).

This is a series of detached frescoes Pistolesi achieved during the years spent in the Verna’s sanctuary which represent some outstanding episodes of San Francesco’s life.
