The story repeats, an even if It’s often nothing of our business-as Eugenio Montale likes to iterate-anyway, sometimes it can induce to a reflection. It occurs, that way, to confusingly look around searching for a human, philosophic or religious appeal to refer to so that to reform our own road. In Art, all the more for painting, this reference - despite some strongly subsisting paradigms - turns out, in the end, to be inexistent or in any case extremely unpredictable. Here re-emerges, pushing, the “beautiful” issue. An objective and absolute “beautiful”. Final. Transcendental. What is crucial is the constitution of the artist who created the latter or his annihilation on the contrary case. No more words : according to Silvestro, more than anybody else, they are only his paintings who can speak.
